ProgrezTribe [プログレストライブ] は日本内外のクィア、フェミニスト、進歩主義者たちが集まって「シンプルな」英語・日本語で交流・議論するDiscordサーバーです。
反レイシズムやジェンダー平等などを支持する人で、日本語か英語のどちらかが少しでも使えれば（ペラペラじゃなくても）大歓迎です。
みんなで一つの結論に至ることを目的した議論ではなく、誰もが「自分も議論に参加して発言ができた」と思える場にすることを目指して、2025年5月10日に発足しました。
Discordでは、メンバー同士で「明日の夜9時からちょっとだけ〇〇についてお話ししませんか」みたいに誘い合って、英語や日本語で交流・議論することができます。メンバー同士の交流・議論だけでなく、ゲストを呼んでのオンラインイベント（こちらを参照）、そして数ヶ月に一度東京にて対面のディスカッションイベントを開催します。
日本語だけでも英語だけでも両方参加でもOKで、ゆっくり話してOK、途中で止まっちゃってもOKです。間違いや速度などは気にせず、ぜひ堂々と参加してください☺️
もっと言えば、「英語には興味ないけど日本語のイベントでゲストと話したい」という理由で参加するのもアリです✨
この他にも、メンバー同士が語学学習に役立つ情報を共有したり質問をしあったり、学習ログをシェアしあったり、テーマに沿って意見を（動画・音声・テキストなどで）発表しあったりする場もあります。
Discord には無料メンバーが交流できるチャンネルがたくさんあり、有料プランに入らなくても他のメンバーと交流したり意見を交換することは可能です。

What is ProgrezTribe?
Meet queers, feminists, and progressives from Japan and beyond on our ProgrezTribe Discord server to communicate and discuss social issues in simple Japanese and simple English.
Anyone who believes in progressive values such as anti-racism & gender equality and speaks at least a little bit of either English or Japanese, is welcome to join us.
ProgrezTribe was launched on May 10, 2025 with the specific goal of, not reaching any kind of consensus among its members, but of ensuring everyone felt heard and included regardless of their language proficiency level.
On the server, members can start an audio/video chat in either Japanese or English about any social topic at anytime. You can also make an announcement beforehand, like “hey let’s talk about xyz at 9PM tomorrow.” In addition to member-only chats, we have guest events (tap here for more info) and physical, in-person events in Tokyo every few months.
You can choose to join only English chats, only Japanese chats, or both. Not fluent? It’s okay to speak slowly, stop mid-sentence, make mistakes etc. Just be brave! ☺️
Maybe you’re not interested in Japanese at all but want to join English guest events? That’s fine, too✨
Other channels include language study channels (sharing resources and asking questions), a study logs channel, and text/audio discussion forums with topic prompts.
At ProgrezTribe we have many channels that you can access as a free member. You don't need to be a paying member to interact and share opinions with other members.
However, as a free member there’s one thing you cannot do, and that is to join real-time audio/video chats. The pricing is on a sliding scale and you can pick your price according to your financial situation. (See FAQ for why it’s not 100% free.)
