Thank you all for coming out last night to the kick-off event!
（日本語と英語を交互に書きます。ニキさんと会場で話してた「この言語だと言うけど、こっちの言語では言わない」みたいな現象が起きると思うので、両言語わかる人はその辺も注目して見てみると面白いかもしれません！ / I'll be writing in Japanese and English alternately. Like Nikki and I were saying during the talk session, there are things you say in one language but not in the other. Maybe this post illustrates how that plays out in real life.）
ProgrezTribe立ち上げパーティー、無事に終えることができました。予想を超えるご来場者数で、椅子が足りなくなってしまって申し訳なかったです！ でも少しぎゅうぎゅうだからこそ近い距離でみなさんのほとんどと直接お話しができたのはとても嬉しかったです☺️
ご来場くださったみなさん、そして直前になって受付をやってくれることになったぬくもりさん、UDトーク関連のことと撮影をやってくれたあんぬさん、映像撮影も掃除もしてくれたDJの三冬さん、買い出しも設営もやってくれた同じくDJのReed、翌日のデモの準備で忙しいのに場所を貸してくれたTKA4のみなさん、そしてたくさん一緒に話してくれたキニマンス塚本ニキさん、みんなありがとうございました。
The kick-off party was a blast! Thank you so much for joining us last night! It was way more people than I had expected, and we ran out of chairs and stools……sorry! But I’m glad that I was able to talk to most of you directly thanks to the tight squeeze☺️
Again, thank you everyone for coming. I also thank Nukumori-san for coming forward when I asked for help with reception, Annu-san for operating UD Talk and the camera, Mifuyu the DJ for also operating the camera (and the broom!), Reed the DJ for getting groceries and moving things around to create more space for the event, the TKA4 staff for letting me use their space when they could have used it themselves to prepare for their anti-gentrification march planned for the following day, and last but not least, Nikki Tsukamoto Kininmonth for joining me and talking about language and marginalization.
これからProgrezTribeは本格的に始動します。すでに42名の方がDiscordに参加してくださり（5月11日20:30時点）、中には早速Discussantプランという音声／映像での交流・議論ができるプランに加入してくださる方もちらほら出てきました。
5月中に英語と日本語のそれぞれ1回はゲストイベントをやりたいと思っていますので、どうかお楽しみに！

I am feeling quite accomplished as the event was a huge success. But this is just a beginning. We already have 42 people on the ProgrezTribe server and the number is growing. Some people have already signed up for the Discussant plan (access to real-time audio/video communication and discussion events). Thank you!
In May, hopefully I can host two guest events, one in Japanese and the other in English. Please join the server to keep updated!
