先週土曜日の立ち上げパーティーが大成功に終わり、すぐに私はメールやメッセージを送信する作業に入りました。宛先は手元の「ゲスト候補者リスト」に書いてある人たち。ProgrezTribe のイベントに来てくれないか、という依頼です。
リストには著名なだけでなく重要な仕事をしている様々な人が載っています。活動家、研究者、ネットで活躍している人、アーティスト、音楽家などなど。まだそのうち一部にしか連絡を取れてはいませんが、すでに5名の方がお返事をくださり、全員がゲストとしての参加を承諾してくださいました！
読み進める前に……これらのゲストイベントに参加するには有料の Discussant プランに加入する必要があります。
では早速、決定したゲストの皆さんを紹介しますね。（50音順です）
あべ・やすし さん。『ことばのバリアフリー 情報保障とコミュニケーションの障害学』という本を書いた人で、やさしい日本語に限らずさまざまなアクセシビリティの問題について専門的に研究・実践している人です。
——こちらは日本語のイベントです小沼理（おぬま・おさむ）さん。『1日が長いと感じられる日が、時々でもあるといい』、『共感と距離感の練習』など、《私》という立脚点から見える景色を言葉にした作品を作っておられます。
——こちらは日本語のイベントです工藤晴子（くどう・はるこ）さん。神戸大学大学院国際文化学研究科の准教授で、『難民とセクシュアリティ アメリカにおける性的マイノリティの包摂と排除』という本を3年前に出しておられます。
——こちらは英語のイベントです久保豊（くぼ・ゆたか）さん。映画研究者、クィア批評家。金沢大学人間社会研究域国際学系の准教授で、著書に『夕焼雲の彼方に─木下惠介とクィアな感性』があります。
——こちらは英語のイベントです水上文（みずかみ・あや）さん。今月『クィアのカナダ旅行記』という初の単著を出す、クィア批評家です。そのほか、これまた今月出る『エトセトラ VOL.13 特集：クィア・女性・コミュニティ』で特集編集も務めておられます。
——こちらは日本語のイベントです
この方々は今の日本の思想を牽引する論者ですが、思い出してください、「最初に返事をくれた5名」であることを。既に他にもたくさんの素晴らしいゲスト候補の皆さんに連絡をとっていますし、これから新たに連絡をとる予定の人もいます。
繰り返しますが、ゲストとのイベントに参加するには有料の Discussant プランに加入する必要があります。また、加入者が多ければ多いほど、ゲストイベントを頻繁に開催できます。

Discordの中には「ようこそ／welcome」というチャンネルがあります。まずはこれを読んで、どんなことができるのか全体像をつかんでください。それぞれのチャンネルを覗いて見ると、さらに何ができるのかわかりやすいと思います。
次に「自己紹介／introduce-yourself」というチャンネルがあります。
英語や日本語を勉強してる人は、その言語で自己紹介をしてみましょう。マイクアイコンで音声を録音して投稿できます。音声が難しい場合は文字で書き込んでもOKです。
また、「お知らせ／news」というチャンネルに行くと現在どんなことが予定されているかなどが見れます。
Five Awesome Guests
Following the successful launch party last Saturday, I immediately began emailing and messaging people——the people that I had on my Potential Guests list, to see if they might be interested in joining a ProgrezTribe event.
The list includes many prominent activists, scholars, Internet personalities, artists, musicians, and others. So far, I’ve only been able to contact a handful, but already five of them have responded and they’ve all said they’d join us!
Before you read on, please note that in order to join guest events, you must be a paid member (automatically assigned the Discussant role).
Now, back to the confirmed guests. (The following is in alphabetic order.)
Yasushi ABE: independent scholar of Disability Studies and expert in accessibility issues, including but not limited to accessibility in language; author of ことばのバリアフリー 情報保障とコミュニケーションの障害学. He will talk in Japanese.
Yutaka KUBO: scholar of Cinema Studies and Queer Criticism (Associate Professor, Kanazawa University); author of 夕焼雲の彼方に─木下惠介とクィアな感性. He will talk in English.
Haruko KUDO: scholar of Refugees Studies and Sexuality Studies (Associate Professor, Kobe University; Visiting Scholar, York University); author of 難民とセクシュアリティ アメリカにおける性的マイノリティの包摂と排除. She will talk in English.
Osamu ONUMA: writer and author of 1日が長いと感じられる日が、時々でもあるといい and 共感と距離感の練習. Through his writings, where he details what he sees and how it makes him feel in the form of diary, the reader can vividly relive his life as a gay man in Japan. He will talk in Japanese.
Aya MIZUKAMI: queer, femme, and feminist literary & film critic and essayist; author of クィアのカナダ旅行記 and guest Editor-in-Chief for エトセトラ VOL.13 特集：クィア・女性・コミュニティ, both forthcoming this month. She will talk in Japanese.
Keep in mind that these people, who are prominent thinkers in today’s Japan, are just the first five people to respond to my requests. I’ve sent, and will send, requests to many more awesome potential guests.
Again, in order to join the events with guests, you must sign up for a paid membership and become a Discussant. The more paid members, the more guest events.

Once you’re in…
Open the “ようこそ／welcome” channel to get a glimpse of what each channel is for. It’ll help to take a little peek into each channel to see for yourself.
Then, go to the “自己紹介／introduce-yourself” channel and introduce yourself in your target language by recording your voice using the microphone icon (visible only on mobile devices). If making an audio post feels too intimidating, you can make a written post instead.
Now, go to the “お知らせ／news” channel to see what’s going on on the server right now.
